Late Breaking News!!!

July 9, 1997.... June Lockhart saw a lot that looked like home on Wednesday, July 9th when she met Pathfinder project scientist Matthew Golobek at NASA's JPL in Pasadena,(The very same city where the Lost In Space consoles were made and actually used by the JPL in the early days of the space program.) She commented that the fake Mars landscape behind a Pathfinder demonstration looked a lot like the set of the show, explaining that "we had a cyclorama that went around the entire set that looked like that".
